This is SmartKitchen and ioLiving/Ceruus Oy’s register and privacy policy notice according to the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

User register of SmartKitchen / ioLiving web service.

4. Jurisdiction and use purpose

The legal basis for the processing of personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation is the individual’s consent.

The purpose of processing personal data is to enable the use of the SmartKitchen / ioLiving service and communication with users. The data will not be used for automated decision-making or profiling.

5. Data in the register

The data collected is:
Name of the user.
User’s email address.
IP address of the data connection.

Some technical data of the used devices (like the model of phone and version of web browser). Company customer’s phone number to their technical support and address.

6. Data sources

Data is inputted by user when he/she creates an account and when company customer actives a licence.

The technical data defined in chapter 5 is collected automatically.

 

7. Person handling the data

Registered data is used by user support personnel.

8. Data Retention Period

Personal data may be retained for an indefinite period. If a user wishes to terminate their account, all data provided by the user will be deleted from the register.

9. Sharing registered data outside EU and EEC

Company users’ data may be shared to company customer’s support people if separately agreed.

 10. Rights to Review and Request Data Correction

Every individual included in the register has the right to inspect the data stored in the register and to request the correction of any incorrect information or the completion of any incomplete information. If an individual wishes to inspect the information stored about them or request corrections, the request must be sent via email to the data controller. The data controller may, if necessary, request the requester to verify their identity. The data controller will respond to the individual in accordance with the time frame specified in the EU data protection regulation (typically within one month)..

 11. Other Rights Related to the Processing of Personal Data

Individuals included in the register have the right to request the removal of their personal data from the register (“the right to be forgotten”). Likewise, data subjects have other rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation, such as the right to restrict the processing of personal data in certain situations. Requests should be sent via email to the data controller. The data controller may, if necessary, request the requester to verify their identity. The data controller will respond to the individual in accordance with the time frame specified in the EU data protection regulation (typically within one month).

 12. Withdrawal of Consent

Users have the right to withdraw their consent to the collection of their information at any time. Withdrawing consent will result in the closure of the user’s account, after which the use of the service will no longer be possible.
